Ecletic and discerning music venue for those that know
Located at the top end of Clapham Common in London’s SW4, directly next to Clapham Common Tube station, 196 Clapham High Street first opened its doors as a Pub in 1905. Although the building itself dates back hundreds of years, we opened as Stane Street Syndicate 2014, to bring something fresh to the Clapham Community by providing a hub of creativity, art and culture. As well as a good time, with some damn tasty food and beverages.
Serving an American Diner inspired menu of Burgers, Fried Chicken and Shakes, as well as a selection of Teas, Coffees and Cakes, there’s bound to be something to get your taste buds going. Put that alongside a vast drinks range, including a constantly evolving selection of Craft Beers, Cask Ales and Premium Spirits, and now we’re talking. With a dedicated event space located towards the back of the venue, we host a variety of some of the most eclectic Live Music & DJ’s in the UK, Comedy Nights, Retro Gaming, Sporting Events and Film Screenings, as well as Art Exhibitions, Vintage and Independent Markets and Record Fairs. What more could you want.
With the Common just over the road, Clapham Picture House just around the corner, and great transport links across the city, (including night tube service, via the Norther Line at Clapham Common Tube Station) Stane Street Syndicate is ideal for any occasion. Whatever you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered.
